Thursday, February 08, 2018 MA Exhibitions have been shortlisted for four of the renowned EN Awards and are proud to be recognised for the following categories, events and individuals… Engineering Design Show - Best Trade Show In a market that has suffered with the uncertainty of Brexit, the show has grown once again and delivered tremendous commercial success without resting on its laurels. We had once again changed the content, the layout and design of the show to keep it fresh. It has been established as THE event for engineering design in the UK and has now secured support from UKTI to take the model overseas. EDS is the perfect example of seizing a show niche, delivering what the audience wants and being successful year on year. PrintWeekLive! (PWL) - Best Launch In an incredibly jaded and political market, where exhibitors didn’t believe that UK events worked anymore, PWL proved that they can. A new format of event without the huge stands and associated costs and focused on business content. The show exceeded on every metric set for success, from net profit at launch and an onsite rebook as well as achieving exclusive sponsorship from key suppliers like Xerox and Heidelberg who hadn’t exhibited in the UK in years. Practice of the Future, Dental Showcase - Best Feature We wanted to create a feature that would wow the market, be a first for the sector, provide engagement with the MA Exhibitions brand as new owners and deliver more dentist attendees…and that’s exactly what we did. We delivered huge growth in our dentist numbers, secured significant sponsorship to make it almost cost neutral and secured an incredible number of rebooks, due to the success of the feature. Rebekah Marnell - Best Newcomer Rebekah has been a fantastic recruit for the company, and one of the most well thought of members of the group. In the brief time she has been with us, she has become invaluable for both the operations and wider exhibitions teams. Her professionalism, enthusiasm, hard work and permanent smile has helped deliver onsite time and again. Huge amounts of passion, dedication and commitment go into turning events on a budget plan into event reality and MA Exhibitions has more reason than many in the sector to be rightly proud of what has been achieved in such a short period of time.
