Bapco Exhibition & Conference Proves Again To Be The Must-Attend Event For Public Safety Communications Professionals

06 April 2017 Over 1,800 visitors attended BAPCO 2017 across its two days. Attendees came from 600 organisations, with more than 70 per cent employed at manager level or above. BAPCO 2017 took place between 21st – 22nd March at the International Centre in Telford. Delegates witnessed presentations from the Home Office - who provided an exclusive update on Emergency Services Network progress -, the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade, JESIP, Google and more. BAPCO 2017 proved itself as the must-attend annual event for those involved in public safety communications. As well as sessions exploring and discussing the latest topics, attendees to BAPCO 2017 also had the opportunity to see the latest technology showcased by the industry’s top suppliers. These included Motorola, EE, Capita, APD and many more. The event also provided visitors with more interactive features than ever before, including the ‘Product Innovation Zone’ where visitors could vote on the product they believed would have greatest impact on public safety communication. The ‘Control Rooms Arena’ meanwhile was sponsored by Frequentis, and aimed at providing a view of the changing face of emergency service control rooms. BAPCO 2017 was organised for the second year in a row by the award-winning MA Exhibitions. The Mark Allen Group also publishes Land Mobile and TETRA Today magazines, the two market-leading publications in the field of digital communications and public safety.
