Inhibin A is found to be the predominant form of inhibin within the maternal circulation after 4 weeks of gestation. There have also many applications for determining levels during the early stages of pregnancy such as preeclampsia, miscarriage, fetal growth restriction and Down's syndrome (Trisomy 21).
