What different types of accounts are there and how much will it cost?

24-10-2017

Implanters and Welfare Organisations can open free accounts on Animal Tracker. We will verify your account by requesting your implanter pin, charity number or by another method. These accounts allow you to hold multiple animals in your keepership and enables you to generate transfer codes to give to people who buy/adopt your animals, so they can register themselves as the new keeper for free. A Premium Breeder account (does not apply if you are additionally an Implanter and have entered a valid Implanter PIN) will require a one-off payment of £6.95. This fee is for the setup of the account and allows Breeders to hold up to 40 records of animals they have bred / are the keeper of, in their account at any one time. When the Breeder sells an animal the new keeper can register their details against the animal's record free of charge **(this applies to the new keeper's first animal only). Alternately Breeders can select a Basic Breeder account where no payment is required. In this instance any transfers of keepership initiated to new pet owners will mean that pet owner has to have a Premium account to complete the transfer (£6.95). If you are a pet owner and have bought an animal from a Breeder (who has set up a Premium Breeder account), Welfare organisation, or pet shop, or you are the first keeper of this pet after they have been microchipped, then it is free to open an account and accept the animal's record to become the registered keeper, providing this is your first registration on Animal Tracker or you already have a Premium account.
