Ammonia Sensor
Product Code: FM023

\n Do you want to tack trends of ammonia concentration especially in stud male cages? Vet-Tech has the answer! Introducing our new ammonia sensors.
\n The sensors will give you the ability to monitor ammonia levels within your mice or rat cages on a continuous basis. These can be used within your facility of any size. If you are a breeding establishment then the sensors can determine ammonia within your cages to decide on when your cages require changing or cleaning out.
\n
\n Even within a smaller facility with fewer cages they are a good back up to acknowledge any ammonia present in the cage.
\n
\n Simply attach the sensor in a convenient area within the cage and observe the changes in colour. You no longer have to rely on infrequent sampling using passive dosimeter tubes, gas detection tubes or electronic ammonia meters all of which are too complicated.
\n
\n
\n
\n The small animal ammonia sensor will provide the information straight in front of you to determine if your general housekeeping and cage changing/cleaning is working optimally within your facility and ammonia levels are being maintained to a minimum.
The sensor also offers the ability to monitor and track trends in ammonia concentrations in each cage. The sensor can also be used to demonstrate to new staff the cleaning/changing requirements of your cages within your own facility.
\n
\n Key Features:
\n
\n
\n Continuous Monitoring 24/7 - average ammonia levels can easily be determined with a quick glance, anytime, day or night
\n
\n 3-Hour Time-Weighted Average - avoid misleading instant ammonia spot check readings; for example, when ventilation fans turn on/off
\n
\n Durable - does not become “poisoned” or damaged when exposed to high ammonia levels
\n
\n Long Lasting - full grow out period (8 weeks) Easy to Use - simply attach sensor in the area to be monitored and observe colour change
\n
\n Reversible - no need to replace sensor after exposure to ammonia; sensor responds to both increasing and decreasing ammonia levels
\n
\n NO chemicals, test kits, expensive equipment, calibration, or procedures required
\n
\n Patented Sensor Technology - state-of-the-art ammonia detection and ammonia monitoring technology
\n
\n
