Listening to our Clients

10-07-2017

18.11.2015 Provet Cloud Team participated in Eesti Veterinaarmeditsiin 2015 in Tartu 30-31.10. Few hundreds of Veterinary professionals eager to hear the latest about treatment methods, new veterinary technology and practice management took part in the venue. Some of them stop by Provet Cloud booth and answer the questionnaire about what they feel is important to the practice, work and business. We analyzed the results of the study: There was high interest in information about diseases and their prevalence in different species. Systematic and unified nomenclature of diagnoses will help forming an understanding of how common different diseases are. Currently there is no one global coding scheme for diagnoses available. Provet Cloud supports systematic diagnoses record by providing preset VeNom codes list from the Royal Veterinary College, UK. An example of disease surveillance is presented by SAVSNET. With unified diagnoses data it is possible to create information on national level. There was high interest in information about diagnoses and their search by symptom. There are number of local and global diagnoses databases such as decision support tool Lifelearn-Sofie. This kind of smart and dynamic solutions offers interesting opportunities for progressive veterinary service. There was relatively high interest in search for information about treatment options based on diagnoses and symptoms. Free diagnoses libraries listed in Cornell University pages are among the examples you might want to use. PetMD offers simple way to check up some of the most usual treatment methods – easy to use also for your clients. Dr. Google is one of the most used veterinarians; it’s good to follow up what’s available in the market. Communication methods between fellow veterinarians and with the clients were considered slightly less important. In the core of veterinarian daily work communication may not appear the key issue, however it is vital part of client experience. Offering great service to your clients through exceptional communication is as important as the treatment of the patient. Client makes the decision to return to your practice.
