GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Moser KM10 clipper – introduced to the UK market in 2014 – is a German designed professional two-speed machine intended for the professional dog groomer. The successor of the Moser Max 45 and the earlier Moser KM1 which in its day was one of the most advanced small animal clippers, capable of also clipping many nervous horses or alpaca’s if fitted with the right blade.
In essence to look at the KM10 other than the colour it appears identical to the KM5 except with some “slight” differences such as brushless motor technology, long service life and a marginally higher 200 cutting stroke per minute in the higher speed (KM5 3000/3500 KM10 3000/3700)
The body design which includes professional ergonomics, creating a lightweight machine weighing between 360/400g allowing for various makes of blades one might fit. This comfortable weight distribution, slim styling circumference and a slip resistant grip results in a more secure hold and improved handling.o Rounded casting at the front of the clipper is claimed to facilitate optimum hair flow and enhanced cutting speed. It generates a powerful clipping speed in either option for the professional groomer. With minimal vibration and a quiet noise level of just 63 decibels the running tone is smooth and low level at both speeds
Supplied new with a 3.8mm #7F Wahl “Competition Series” blade, the Moser KM10 offers you the ability to use any of your existing detachable “Snap-On” style blades. Detachable blades are easily cleaned and align automatically with no tensioning required. This type of blade should be put on the machine with the motor running, and when cleaning it is both un-necessary and unadvisable to undo the two blade screws
In keeping with most clippers an element of routine maintenance is required to maintain the clipper in peak performance. Drive tips do wear with constant use and clipper performance may become affected as a result – therefore routine checking of the tip for wear and if found subsequent replacement is recommended.
