A “Skip tooth” blade
This blade is identical to the Oster #7 in cutting length.
Of the 17 teeth of the comb blade plate 8 protrude out in line with the blade edge and the remaining 9 are angled down to aid penetration.

The closest of the “skip” tooth blades; it is often used when it becomes necessary to strip down a dog. Groomers will find it extremely effective when used in situations where it is desirable to blend the coat from a close work area into a flowing longer coat texture. Makes a useful sized blade for a short Terrier finish.
A popular sized blade to be found in many grooming parlours along with the #7F.
It is used on a wide rang of dogs including: –
