A close blade.
A close blade with a number of applications. The bottom plate teeth are roughly 50% longer in length on the face side compared to the blade #40, which gives a more surgical application. This blade is identical to the Oster #30 in cutting length.

A blade size often used in dog grooming circles on the faces and feet of either a black or brown Poodles.
It can be used with a clip on blade attachment for the removal of excess body coat, and is also used on Schnauzer ears.
Use the blade with a comb attachment to achieve a nice finish to a Poodle with a longer coat or to give the appearance of a hand scissored look on a mixed breed or a long coated terrier.
A wide range of attachment combs can be fitted over these blades to provide increased cutting length. Comb attachments should only be used on well-groomed coats and not those, which are tangled or matted.
Supplied in hard plastic and lasting presentation case – a hallmark of Aesculap quality!
