DescriptionEssentially a blade normally fitted to a domestic pet clipper with limited uses.
The #40-30 sizing allows for various cutting depths by adjustment of a “blade depth lever.” Therefore the operator can select from a “medium” (#9) cut to an “open” (#8) cut by movement of the adjustment lever.
The blades can be used on an array of dogs and other small animals for close clipping purposes and veterinary requirements, but are essentially for domestic clipping purposes rather that professional grooming.
Could be tried for hogging situations but due to the power of the clipper the blades should be allowed to cut through the hair at their own speed and not pushed!
A range of attachment combs can be fitted over these blades to provide increased cutting length. Comb attachments should only be used on well-groomed coats and not those, which are tangled or matted.
