Replacement carbon brushes and springs for the Hauptner model 2000 need to be checked every 300/400 working hours for wear.
Brushes need to be checked by an authorised engineer or approved service centre as special tools are needed to open the clipper body casing.
Worn carbon brushes can damage the armature!
