Description

Accurately measures birthweights of newborn beef calves within 24 hours of birth. Measures from 34 to 157 lb. Place the tape around the coronary band of the front hoof, tighten and read the circumference in centimetres and the birthweight in pounds from the tape scale. One side measures bulls, the other heifers. Weight at birth may vary ± 7.0 lbs for bulls and ± 6.4 lbs for heifers due to hour of age and shrink or fill.
