DescriptionBlocks – Designed for Hauptner livestock blades.
Specially made wooden block designed for the purposes of correctly positioning and holding Hauptner cutters and combs on the grinding disc whilst sharpening.
Supplied with counter sunk magnet. The purpose of the block is to enable a secure hold on the blade during sharpening, Blocks have two sunken magnets holding the Hauptner blades secure during sharpening, and the “cut out” section enables the Hauptner cutter blades to be keep in a countersunk situation during the sharpening process.

NOT supplied with blade as shown in image
This block is designed to accommodate ONLY the Hauptner upper plate (comb blades) and the lower plate (cutter blades.)
To sharpened other makes of blades a specific block is required. These can be made by any compentent DIY wood worker,
(The magnets used to keep blades in situ can be obtained – see below.)
