PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Aesculap Econom II GT 494 is based on the successful GT474 cattle clipper, but with a sheep head and blades fitted.
The GT494 like the cattle version GT474 has a long established and unrivalled reputation amongst the black and white dairy cattle showmen, as well as many beef exhibitors. As a shearing machine it is powerful and professional – ideal for the flock owner who needs versatility and reliability. The innovative design style featuring a slim shaped handpiece incorporates a combination of balance and lightness, to ensure the operator precision clipping to the highest standards. A heavy-duty machine, with a unique motor design, reasonably quiet, smooth running and vibration free it will shear all day without overheating. Fitted with all round air filters at the rear of the handpiece it is an easy machine to service and clean.
Spare parts are readily available – even for long discontinued models! A cattle head enables you to convert the GT494 into a clipping machine (GT474) can be obtained as an optional extra, and is easily fitted within a few seconds with no special tools required.
The GT494 can be used with its own range of cutters and comb blades or it can be fitted with traditional Lister and Heiniger sharing blades. (Narrow blades are the exception.) When fitted with a cattle head few machines in the heavy-duty section can equal the Aesculap Econom GT474 on the range of blades, which can be used with it, (including the Heiniger Liscop and Stewart Oster blade ranges.)
