Extra close surgical blade
All Wahl “detachable blades” are ice tempered and made in Germany using high carbon steel to give a quality cutting edge.
This blade will give an extra close finish and is may in certain cases be used for show clipping. Used for surgical and laboratory work. Popular blade for Veterinary use.
In majority of cases for dog grooming use with a comb to give a good finish. Good on mixed breeds. Dogs should be well groomed out before clipped.
A wide range of attachment combs can be fitted over these blades to provide increased cutting length. Comb attachments should only be used on well-groomed coats and not those, which are tangled or matted.
