Canine Coronavirus (CCV) causes intestinal disease in dogs and is a member of the coronaviridae family. In most cases the infected dogs experience a complete recover and develop immunity to CCV. The virus invades and replicates in the villi of the small intestine, in majority of instances this can also make the cells more susceptible to infection by parvoviruses
