Cardiotrophin-1 ELISA Kit
Cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1) was initially discovered as a factor which was able to induce cardiac myocyte hypertrophy. It is a 21.5 kDa cardiac hypertrophic factor and a member of the interleukin-6 superfamily (also includes IL-11, LIF, CNTF and oncostatin M). It has been detected in abundance in adult human lung cells and expressed in both adult and fetal smooth airway muscle cells.
