Swine Influenza Testing

We provide the Haemagglutination Inhibition (HAI) assay for the detection of antibodies to swine influenza viruses. The virus strains used are those currently most relevant to the United Kingdom swine herd, i.e H1N1 in both its classical swine and avian-like 195852 variants, H3N2, and the recent H1N2 isolate. Results are presented as HAI antibody titres. We also offer an Influenza A antibody ELISA.
